My First Wedding Cake

My first wedding cake

This was made for my boyfriend’s sister after her original baker backed out last minute. I had never made a wedding cake before, but thought it would be a lot of fun. The experience making this cake is why I’m still baking cakes today and hope to make more wedding cakes soon.

It was a vanilla cake with lemon Swiss Meringue Buttercream and raspberry filling. All of the recipes were from Sweetapolita.

• Transporting a cake

Luckily it all went well though!
